It has been a busy and rewarding year at Brandon Bioscience in 2025. From welcoming partners to our home to meeting growers in their fields around the world, we’ve continued to deepen relationships, advance our research, and expand the reach of our biostimulants.
Whether hosting visitors in our labs, presenting at major international conferences, or launching new solutions in new markets, this year reflected our commitment to science-driven innovation and meaningful collaboration with customers and partners.
Here is a snapshot of some of the key highlights from the year.

CE MARK FOR MARTELLO®
One of the standout achievements of 2025 was the CE Mark approval for MARTELLO®, now certified under the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR) 2019/1009.
This recognition, our fourth CE-certified product, reinforces the quality and consistency of MARTELLO®, designed to enhance abiotic stress tolerance and support key reproductive-stage processes such as pollen viability, flower development, and fruit set. Congratulations to our R&D, regulatory, and production teams for the hard work behind this milestone.

BLOCSAL® SUCCESS IN SPAIN & PORTUGAL
This year saw BLOCSAL® gain significant traction across southern Europe.
In Spain, growers highlighted improvements in leaf health, fruit quality, and overall vitality under saline and dry conditions, validating BLOCSAL’s role in supporting crops exposed to high conductivity irrigation water. Field visits with Distinet Murcia S.L. and Fitomurcia showcased remarkable on-farm results.
In Portugal, BLOCSAL was also trialled in rice fields in Ribatejo with Servagronis, where early findings have been promising. Combined with strong engagement across Ribatejo, Alentejo, and the Algarve, 2025 marked a breakthrough year for BLOCSAL in Iberia.

DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH
Sharing our science with the global community remains central to what we do at Brandon. In 2025, our team presented at leading conferences around the world:
New Ag International Annual – Bangkok
Juan Francisco Sánchez López presented on new insights on MARTELLO® and its ability to improve fertility during prolonged high-temperature exposure. Our team also connected with partners Agspec Group to share the latest trial results and strengthen regional collaborations.
Biostimulants World Congress – Barcelona
A busy event for us this year, with two presentations at the biggest biostimulant show in Barcelona:
- Mitigating heat stress in chilli pepper – Juan Francisco Sánchez López
- Growing Beyond Salinity: BLOCSAL® precision formulation – Jesús Javier Soto Ruiz
We were proud to showcase our latest findings on MARTELLO® and BLOCSAL®, and to meet with industry partners, researchers, and growers from around the world.
IPSAM – Galway
Elomofe Ikuyinminu Ph.D. presented new research on formulated biostimulants under stressed and unstressed conditions, while CABR’s Patrick Quille shared ryegrass nitrogen-use-efficiency results using Ascophyllum nodosum extracts.
Mexico Chitosan Conference (ICCC-16)
Dr. Naivy Nava-Cruz presented on ISKAMAR®, our innovative chitooligosaccharide-based biostimulant designed to improve drought resilience and water-use efficiency. A strong platform to highlight Brandon’s leadership in next-generation biopolymer biostimulants.

BARRAMAR® & MARTELLO® LAUNCHED IN PORTUGAL
2025 marked our official entry into the Portuguese market with the launch of BARRAMAR® and MARTELLO®, in partnership with Servagronis.
Our team met with distributors, technicians, and growers across Santarém, Setúbal, Évora, and Beja to introduce our biostimulant range and share research-backed insights across key crops. A warm thank-you to Servagronis for their collaboration and support, we look forward to building strong, long-term relationships with Portuguese growers.

CÉAD MÍLE FÁILTE
We were delighted to welcome several partners to Ireland & Scotland this year:
- ANASAC (Chile): A behind-the-scenes look at MARTELLO®, from raw material to finished product, and discussions on challenges facing key Chilean crops.
- Sarabia (Spain): Technical sessions, facility tours, and insights into the production of Algamur Max helped strengthen shared knowledge and collaboration.
- Fitomurcia & Spanish partners: Multiple training weeks across Seville, Orihuela, and Lleida brought valuable engagement with growers and distributors, as well as a visit to the Hebrides Islands at the end of the year.
These visits underline the importance of shared learning, transparency, and strong commercial partnerships.

TECHNICAL & MARKET VISITS
Our teams were active across the globe, supporting customers on the ground and presenting at key industry events:
- Hortitec (Brazil) with AMVAC BR – showcasing TERRAMAR® and SEACROP®.
- Caldic Symposium (Valencia) – presenting our unique modes of action and field performance.
- Training Days – multi-stop training across Spain covering Algamur Max and PSI® Technology
- Almeria Campaign Launch – introducing BLOCSAL®, ISKAMAR®, Impulsum, and Seasum Max to over 150 growers.
- Field Trials – from tomatoes and nectarines to pears and wine grapes, our teams continued hands-on research to refine application programmes.

ALGAMIN® AQO RECEIVES TFI CERTIFICATION
A major highlight for our U.S. portfolio: Algamin® AQO was officially certified under The Fertilizer Institute’s Certified Biostimulant Program.
This certification confirms the product meets U.S. guidelines for efficacy, composition, and safety. After more than 15 years on the market, this recognition strengthens our commitment to delivering biostimulants supported by rigorous testing and transparent quality control.

CAAE CERTIFICATION RENEWED
We were proud to once again receive CAAE certification at Fruit Attraction, confirming that our inputs continue to comply with UNE 142500 standards for organic crop production. A big congratulations to our technical and regulatory teams for maintaining these high standards.

LOOKING AHEAD
2025 was a year defined by partnership, research, and market expansion. From Europe to Latin America, Southeast Asia to the United States, our teams worked tirelessly to deliver innovative, high-performing biostimulants and provide meaningful support to growers facing real-world challenges.
Thank you to all our customers, partners, collaborators, and colleagues for your trust, engagement, and commitment throughout the year. We look forward to building on this momentum together in 2026, continuing to innovate, collaborate, and deliver solutions that help crops thrive in an ever-changing world.
